RWC Finland at FMI operates a 24/7 space weather centre providing alerts and advice to national authorities, auroral forecasts to general public, and advisories to aviation as part of the PECASUS consortium.
FMI operates magnetometers, auroral cameras and ionospheric measurements in collaboration with the Sodankylä Geophysical Observatory. Derived near-real-time products include geomagnetically induced currents, auroral probabilityand ionospheric tomography.
